SKYDRIFT
Picked this up on a whim years ago and immediately found it to be fantastic. SkyDrift is a racing game with planes. Nothing particularly special on it's face but these planes are armed with guns and rockets to now a dangerous dog fighting element is in play. Oh but that's not all, Mario Kart style power ups are suspended in the air along the flight path as an additional catch to mix it up. With loads of different planes to fly, really tight flight controls and well designed, good looking courses make playing SkyDrift a real treat. The only feature I feel is missing is local multiplayer.
